From City to Surf. Geoscan were engaged by the Surf Coast Shire to prepare the iconic Bells Beach surfing reserve for the erection of facilities for the annual Bells Beach Surf Classic. Geoscan surveyed over a kilometer of the picturesque coastline, ascertaining all underground services. The information was collected and compiled into a comprehensive Underground Service Map in CAD and hard copy form. The Surf Coast Shire can now permanently refer to their plan of all underground services in the reserve, and amend it as more services are introduced into the future. An underground service map is an immensely valuable tool going forward. It saves time, cost and greatly reduces risk on future projects.
